PTPL shall on best efforts basis provide only corrective maintenance service and
replacement of defective parts of the product for a period of 12 months from the
date of purchase through its service centres in India(as mentioned on the website).
In case there is no nearby service centre, you are requested to call our Customer
Care at 0120-4805200 or mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org for assistance.
This warranty is valid in India only.
Customer shall be responsible for bringing and collecting the product from our service
centre(s) at their own cost.
PTPL reserves the right to dispose of the product at the risk and cost of the customer
at its own sole discretion, without incurring any liabilities whatsoever in case
customer do not take delivery within 15 days from the date of intimation for collecting
the product after warranty repair.
PTPL reserves the right to refuse the warranty in case the warranty card and/or
proof of purchase is not produced.
All the accessories (Adapter, Connector, etc) are under warranty for a period of
3 months from the date of purchase.
This Warranty covers batteries only if battery capacity falls below 85% of rated
capacity or the battery leaks, and this Limited Warranty does not cover any battery
if (i) the battery has been charged by a battery charger not specified or approved
by PTPL for charging the battery; (ii) any of the seals on the battery are broken
or show evidence of tampering; or (iii) the battery has been used in equipment other
than the PTPL Tablet for which it is specified.
In case of Broken Penta T-Pad received, please inform the customer care cell the
same day of receiving the product by calling at our customer care number: 0120-4805200 or mail us at email@example.com with product and your contact details. In case
the product is received after working hours the report should be either mailed or
the customer care contacted the very next day. Any broken receipt complaints received
after 24 hours of receiving would not be considered.
Any product which is faulty to the extent that it cannot be repaired within 15days
of purchase will be considered under “D.O.A.” Policy.
DOA means Dead on Arrival/ Defective on Arrival and the company is liable to replace/
repair (as per company’s sole discretion) at top priority i.e.; within 7 working
Any preventive maintenance including but not limited to conditioning of storage
disk or recovery form software virus attacks, internet hacking, software virus checks,
any SIM diagnostic tests and cleaning, data content, any setting, data recovery
resulting from storage disk failure or application software failure, third party
application software (installed/downloaded); or
Any peripherals items such as connectivity items, external accessories, headphone,
memory cards, carry case, built in or external devices such as fax/data/voice modem,
wireless LAN card, Bluetooth card, SIM card or any telecommunication devices, cables;
Battery failure due to usage of adaptor or power source not supplied or approved
Any item not forming part of the product including any part sourced by you through
the third party.
Defects or damage resulting from accident, misuse, abnormal use, abnormal conditions,
improper storage, exposure to liquid, moisture, dampness, sand or dirt, neglect,
or unusual physical, electrical or electromechanical stress;
Defects or damage resulting from excessive force or use of a metallic object when
pressing on a touch screen;
Ordinary wear and tear;
Defects or damage resulting from improper testing, operation, maintenance, installation,
service, or adjustment not furnished or approved by PTPL;
Defects or damage resulting from external causes such as collision with an object,
fire, flooding, dirt, windstorm, lightning, earthquake, exposure to weather conditions,
theft, blown fuse, or improper use of any electrical source;
The Warrant wouldn’t cover any free accessories distributed for promotional purposes
or a third party accessory. For the entire third party accessory, PTPL shall not
be liable for any defect, whatsoever.
Failure or defect was attributable to any extrinsic cause, accidental damage, liquid
logged, flames, improper use, modification, adaption, neglect, wear and tear improper
installation, improper connection with any peripheral devices, external electrical
fault, any external electrical or electromagnetic interferences or stress.
The serial number or the enhancement data code of the product has been removed,
defaced, damaged, altered or made illegible.
Before returning any hardware product for warranty support, back up your files,
data and programs, and remove any confidential, proprietary, or personal information.
PTPL is not liable for any data theft or data loss.
Product Serial no. and Type
For all disputes; differences and questions what so ever under this Warranty shall
be referred to sole arbitrator to be appointed by PTPL. All such arbitration proceeding
shall be held in Delhi and shall be in accordance with and subject to the Arbitration
& Conciliation Act 1996, or any statutory modification re-enactment thereof for the
time being in force, The courts at New Delhi shall have the exclusive Jurisdiction
in case of any dispute or differences in any matter relating to this warranty program.
